I thought the event will be postponed due to heavy rains and strong winds brought by the typhoon Ruby or Hagupit. I hope everyone is safe!
Last month, I posted about my blog as one of the nominees for the 7th Best Cebu Blogs Awards 2014 and here's the update about it!
Good thing the weather last Sunday, 7th of December night was calm and can manage to go out. Good opportunity for all of us to be held the 7th Best Cebu Blogs Awards!
I did not bring my camera since there will be an official photographer in the event. Here are the photos released and posted on BCB Facebook page.

The Winner is...
Before I heard my name, I was talking to my mom on the phone and told her that I'm not at home, I'm in an event right now for an awarding, she told me that "you will win, anak" I was like "Mommy, c'mon... the competition is tight!"
When the host announced the winner of the Best Cebu Photo Blogger 2014 it was my name and I was surprised! I guess, Mother knows best!

The "Thank You" Speech
First of all, I thank God for this blessing! I started to brand my blog as Jewel Clicks last 2011 and I decided to create this blog because my Flickr account that time was very limited only for 200 photos upload. (how poor) So, why limit myself on posting when I can create a blog and post everything here? and tadaaah! the rest is the history.
I would like to say, Thank You to Rod of Spot a Leopard, he nominated my blog for this year awarding, he told me last year that he will do it and I thought this nomination is just for fun, but I felt the pressure when I've seen the list of the nominees and in two categories!
Thank you to my family, friends, readers and blogger friends anywhere in the world for always visiting my blog and leaving some love! Kisses!
Thank you to all the Judges for choosing my blog for this niche and to the team of Best Cebu Blogs behind this event, you are all hardworking on setting up and organizing the event and all the sponsors who support this kind of event. I love the trophy, guys!
One more reason to love Cebu more! :)

If you notice, I am still conscious because I have my braces on and it's just a week old! I still don't know how to smile and talk properly. I will explain why I have my braces on soon.
