Being a mom means balancing endless responsibilities with moments of self-care and family connection. In my latest vlog, I take you along on a typical day as I juggle errands, a little pampering, and some quality time with my loved ones. You’ll see me tackling grocery shopping, a necessary task that always seems to take up more time than expected, and then squeezing in a quick mani-pedi to recharge. Finding time for self-care, even if it’s just a short break, makes such a difference in managing mom life!
I also get to catch up with my sister and a friend, which reminds me of the importance of nurturing my social connections. Balancing mom duties with a little relaxation and family time helps me feel more grounded and connected.

When we hear the number 22 we always think of Taylor Swift's song and we totally sing this line "I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22!"
So there are unfortunate series of events that happened in our family before the year ends - First: my sister was pregnant and about to give birth last December and required to take a series of RT PCR tests for Covid19. On her fourth test, she was tested positive. The whole family got quarantined for 14-days! Our dad's birthday was celebrated at home again and I couldn't go home because it was useless not to bond with them. Turns out that the rest of the family are all NEGATIVE after they had a swab test at home, but still quarantined for 14days. After few days, it was Super Typhoon Odette (Rai) hit the Visayas - Mindanao and the top tri-cities in Cebu province gained a lot of damages mostly are roofs and some houses made of light wood materials got smashed. Everyone I know are safe. Laban lang.
As for me, my family told me not to go home until water, electricity and telecommunications are stable. So, I booked my solo New Year's Eve countdown in the hotel near my place and tadah it was all worth it with the 360 views of fireworks and personalized mini bottle of champagne for souvenir.
I was hesistant at first to go there alone, but eventually I have met these siblings, Jen and Robi from Cebu. They evacuated here in Manila just like my other friends for New Year's celebration. They are also planning to work and stay here for a while.
The countdown begins and the fireworks display are all awesome and welcoming 2022 really feels so good. Im kind of carrying some emotional excess baggage, but just like decluttering my skincare products before I started writing this blog post, I will for sure slowly letting go of those baggages that I know there will be no room for this year. I will miss those moments and feelings, 2021 is one crazy roller coaster ride for all of us. I had encountered so many plot twists and received so many "Sorry".
But here I am, trying to pull up myself from the mess I've been to. Hoping that I can have a good year and less bad vibes because I am a happy ball of sunshine outside and l am so close to shut down every windows and doors in my life that I know I can't do that because at the end of the day, I want to feel light and happy and peaceful.

Life Updates is a weekly VLOG content created by Jewel Delgado to share my life updates in a week to inspire single independent adults out there to have life-work balance and slow down filled with life living alone, adulting, minimalist lifestyle, reviews and travels.
I started taking it since June. I love how I have a good night sleep even though I sleep late.
Even for health-conscious women in their 30's, skin aging is inevitable. That's why I rely on #BiSupponCollagen to keep signs of aging at bay and stand out with her dewy, radiant skin.
Watch my short review of Bi-Suppon Collagen by Blue Bee One PH.
When it comes to collagen supplements, there are loads in the market that promise good results, but so far, only Bi-Suppon Collagen worked for me. It made my skin firm, soft, and dewy just after two weeks of regular use!
Made from “suppon,” a great source of amino acids, Bi-Suppon Collagen helped me get naturally glowing skin.
It’s also easy to remember how to use Bi-Suppon because you just need to take all 3 capsules at once, before you sleep.
This beauty pill is also 100% organic plus it has glycine, which is known to improve sleep (it’s no secret that beauty rest is a must when you’re in your 30’s).
I might be an official “Tita” now, but my skin doesn’t have to show it, thanks to Bi-Suppon. It’s really worth the money. Try it and transform your skin in just 2 weeks!
I went on a solo trip to South Korea last October. It was just a short trip that I regret after. I should have added one extra day to stay in the country. HAHAHA
I wanted to explore the nightlife that Seoul has to offer. To be able to experience that I have to look for the spots and perfect location. I had no time, let's get real here. I have work after work. So I tried to search about Pubcrawl activity in Hongdae. After booking my Airbnb in Hongdae, I found this activity in Airbnb experience listing and it was nearby! Spell PERFECT!
The activity will take 5.5 hours and the hosts are good English speakers so there was no miscommunication and you will really have fun.
Meet Up Place
Our meet up was in RetroGameBar it was a themed after popular video games. When I arrived and meet the host and the other participants, I had a drink and played some of the games. So nostalgic.
I met this solo traveler from California. IDK why she was laughing here. I guess I was telling her some jokes.
Hongdae Park / Playground
After we are all completed we proceed to the next stop which is a park nearby. It is a children's playground and at night the crowd has a different vibe. Everyone can bring their drinks and chill at the park. That's what we did. We had our soju and rice wine for drinks. I tried it also in mixed and I was caught on cam. There you go.
It was weird that I was grouped with fellow Filipinos who have also joined the activity. I love talking to other nationality and excited to hear their stories. Here are the ladies that I met they are in one group. Looks like I belong.
One group shot before going to the next bar.
Bar Hopping
For some reasons, I have no photos where we went. My goal that night was just to have fun! I checked my phone for photos the next day, but I just have a few photos. I don't know why I wasn't smiling in this photo. Soju and rice wine was kicking in. I only remember Ms. California and Danica.
with Bo
The only decent groupie I have on my phone. I guess we were all having fun here and being comfy with each other.
Another group photo outside the bar before going to the last club in Hongdae.
With Bo again, he said that we are on our 4th club that night. Watch the VLOG below.
With homegirl, Danica!
Overall Feels
It was a great night out. I really enjoyed it as it was my goal. This is a safe activity for a solo female traveler like me. But please be responsible when it comes to drinking since you will go home alone. Make sure to book the right activity and read the reviews first before booking. about my Pubcrawl experience in Seoul South Korea!
Hello everyone! Thought I have to post the video blogs of my solo trip in Thailand for two weeks. I consider Bangkok a place where I could live in Asia because of their strong culture, delicious food, city nightlife, work opportunities and of course nature tripping and beaches! Been there for more than the usual three days and two nights, I was there to live like a local. I worked as a freelancer so I had no issues with me traveling that long to experience how it's like to live in their country. Though I've been to Singapore for a month for work, I was stressed and felt the pressure most of the time because of work and budgeting my own expenses in the expensive city. Hmm... but Singapore is one of the beautiful and organized countries in Asia to go to or escape from Manila. Grabe yung side story, so here you go, hope you will enjoy the video blogs and if you have any questions for my trip, let me know! You can follow me on Instagram: @jewelclicks or leave a comment down below.
Let's get real here! Whenever we travel to a non-English country the only thing we think of is that "can they understand English language?" well that was a problem years ago. In today's modern and internet life and having a best friend Google we can now communicate with locals whether it's a Chinese language or Japanese, Google Translator app is helpful AF to become friends with locals.
Here's my short VLOG with the mother of the host of my Airbnb and this is how we communicate with each other. This was our second time to meet in Taipei, I stayed in their house when I went to Taipei for the first time and I loved how she put so much effort to talk to me via Google Translator and so I told her I will call her Mom too! She's the sweetest!
With friends from Canada: Vladimir, Veronica, Jana and Nina
I spent my last night at Shilin Night Market to join my new friends from Canada and Nina for a food trip! It was so cool because I finally tried some native dishes in the city. So happy that I met Nina so she guided us what to order and where to eat. Watch my short VLOG about our food trip. Please don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel. ENJOY!
Omelette with Oysters and Shells

Rest after food trip with Nina before going to the airport.
So my friend cancels her trip to Taipei with me at a very last minute. I tried to convince her that she needed a break too, but it didn't work out. So here I am again going to a trip solo.
While I was on board in plane, I was browsing Klook website and checking what to do on Saturday night. I remembered someone told me to try the Pubcrawl. So with very last minute just a few minutes before we fly out the country, I BOOKED IT! Then I slept during the whole flight.
Meet Up Place
The meeting place is at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall MRT Station - Exit 2. Good thing there's a convenient store nearby where I can grab something to eat for dinner before drinking. :)
All I wanted that night was to have enjoyed and discovered the nightlife in the city.
First Stop and Drink: Taiwan Beer
I don't drink beer, but this one is good for me.
Second Stop and Bubble Gum Shot

Third Stop and Hell Shots
