My First Christmas Cracker

Ring from Terranova

Hello! I did not have a chance to blog about this after Christmas because of the busy schedule before and after Christmas day. My friend invited me to have our Christmas dinner at Cafe Marco located in Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City, where they stayed for Christmas!

I didn't take photos of what I ate because I was overwhelmed with food. So, I focused on nom, nom, nom, instead. Here's a glass of wine to end our dinner :)

So after our dinner, we went back to the room and my friend Jo told us about "Christmas Cracker". Me and Divine don't have any idea at all. I was thinking of a firecracker! HAHAHA! My friend Jo, explained it to us and how it works. This is what Wikipedia says:

Christmas crackers are part of Christmas celebrations primarily in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Commonwealth countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa. A cracker consists of a cardboard tube wrapped in a brightly decorated twist of paper,[1] making it resemble an oversized sweet-wrapper. The cracker is pulled by two people, often with arms crossed, and, much in the manner of a wishbone, the cracker splits unevenly.[1] The split is accompanied by a mild bang or snapping sound produced by the effect of friction on a shock-sensitive, chemically-impregnated card strip (similar to that used in a cap gun).[1] One chemical used for the friction strip is silver fulminate,[2] which is highly unstable.
Alright, that's too much of a content on this post. So here's my first Christmas Cracker, tadaaah!

And this is what I've got! A bottle cap opener! :O Oh.em.gee! it really fits to me because I love to drink sometimes. :D It comes along with a joke, trivia and charades and you have to wear the crown!

Only the three of us, but we all had fun cracking those and laughed on what we've all got!

Mesh Dress - Forever 21

This is what I wore on our Christmas dinner. I wanted to have a hassle-free shopping during holidays. What I did, I checked the website of Forever 21 and checked their dresses, so when I visited their store, all I have to do is to ask the salesperson if the dress is available. Is it such a great strategy? ;)

Have a great day everyone! :)
