How To Choose Your Perfect Homecoming Party Dress

Homecoming is a very important tradition in many high schools and universities of different countries, first and foremost The United States and Canada.

Choosing prom or homecoming dresses is understandably overwhelming. There are so many styles to pick from and on top of that, they come in a vast variety of colors! The selection out there is exponentially great, so no wonder you are looking for a way to narrow down the color and style options! I would like to help you with that.

27dress.com is a perfect website I ever found. They have many styles of dresses. If you want to catch the attention of everyone in the room an elegant and bouncy short homecoming dress is surely the best choice.

Choose a dress color that will stand out, while still complementing your atmosphere. Does your prom or homecoming have a theme? Let’s go with under the sea as an example; predictably, this theme’s color scheme will feature blue. Also, if you still cannot decide, don’t underestimate the power of perception. Bring your friends with you. Ask them questions. Tell them to BE HONEST. Holding up dress after the dress is a tough sell when it’s just you and the mirror. But through the eyes of another person, you are getting a much better picture of what really looks great on you.

And if you have a low budget, you can visit 27dress to get cheap homecoming dresses, but in high quality. By the way, in this season, they have summer promotion, you can use the coupon code: Summer to get extra 10% OFF. That’s a nice offer I think.

Have a great day everyone!

Vintage Special Occasion Dresses

We love to attend events such as birthday, reunion, company and wedding and many more. We love to wear something different, but how can you stand out if you are going to wear trendy gowns or dresses to parties.

Let's choose a different trend, there are vintage special occasion dresses that you would like to consider wearing for parties.  Looking for a place to shop a certain style of clothes will give you a little headache where to find perfect designs with vintage details and classy.

I always love searching for online shops because I have no time to go to malls and check out the stores one by one. Believe me, this will save you time. Wardobeshop.com is a shop labor of love and a passionate pursuit to compile the most authentic recreations of dresses from the 1920's, 30's and 40's.  They offer various interesting cuts, textures and styles that you will definitely love.

Here are my top picks:

Let's start with their shorter and informal dress

Saddle Up Sweet Cowgirl Dress in Ivory

Bohemian Tribal Dress in Chocolate

Dress by Light In The Box

I went to Taiwan last month and I've seen cherry blossoms started blooming. It was the almost end of the winter season and spring/summer has begun. That's why I was happy to experience the cold weather in Hong Kong few weeks before my Taiwan trip. You can watch my VLOG here.

I don't have an idea what to pack and wear for the trip, so I checked the weather forecast and that was sunny weather and with rain shower. To make sure that I won't be overdressed, I visited www.lightinthebox.com online shop and browsed dresses that could fit with the weather. My coat and the dress I wore during my autumn trip in Kyoto (post here) were also bought from Light in the Box last year.

I choose this little black dress which is perfect for chilly weather forecast with lace details at the bottom. I paired it with my comfy walking shoes and printed socks to break give a little highlight of my outfit.

My trip in Taiwan has been just short, I challenged myself to pack smart with no check in luggage and only hand carry. Guess what? I made it! Finally, I can say that I know how to pack now than before. ( Related posts here)

Photo Diary: Awesome Autumn in Kyoto Japan - Watch my VLOG

It was a Kyoto day tour with my friend Ryan! We have decided to meet in Kyoto Station at 10:30AM. He instructed me to be in Osaka Station before 9:45AM train schedule. It was a great day to explore around.

My messy bed

Breakfast before going out.

MAPS

But I had my Pocket WiFi - Flytpack with me and I have been always online for Google Maps.

I met Cebuanas in Osaka, YAY!

I left early because it will takes 10-15 minutes walking to train station from the hostel and I was wearing my boots with heels!

Train to Kyoto!

after 30 minutes I'm in Kyoto na

Kyoto Tower!

We bought unlimited pass bus ride for 500 Yen.

With Ryan my tour guide :)

"What chu lookin at?"

AMAZING! I can't believe I'm in Japan and having an awesome autumn. Huhu

They are lovely!

Ryan tour me to less crowdy spots in Kyoto and no entrance fee. Which is okay for me because I can take photos without any people in the background.

Outfit of the Day

A month before my trip I was notified by my friend that is cold weather in Osaka even if it's mid-November.

Living in a tropical country, I have no coat or any winter clothes except jackets and sweaters. I found a perfect online shop Light in the Box normally when you shop online from abroad it takes 3 to 4 weeks, but with Light in the Box, I only waited for less than a week delivered by DHL! Isn't it amazing?! So I really had no problem rushing to the mall and look for winter outfit and deal with the traffic going home.

I love this dress perfect for cold weather. I wonder when will I wear this again.

It was past 12 noon and we haven't eaten lunch.

So we rest in a bit and think where to eat because Ryan has to leave early for his Japanese class. HUHU

Cute doggies

Photo Walk

Someone is alone.

Hello besh, Is it me your looking for?

We finally decided to eat in McDonald's because we were in a hurry.

I went to Namba after my Kyoto and got lost and confused where to eat. It was really an adventure for me.

I'm not sure if this is Dotonbori.

Decided to eat light because I know I can't finish one bowl of Ramen alone.

After I ate I went back to Osaka and rest because I have an early flight back to Narita. I will definitely go back to Osaka and spend more days.

Visit their online shop:
