HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

My last trip of the year was in Taipei, Taiwan AGAIN. I mentioned it before that it will be my go-to city when I want to escape Manila for a few days. Though, I miss Hong Kong busy streets and interesting spots to take self-portraits for social media posts. HAHA




I supposed to go back to Taipei with my friend Jo as our year-end out of the country trip but turns out that I went solo again. I WAS LIKE, WHAT'S NEW?

I didn't have plans where to exactly I will go this time around as I went to all tourist spots last spring and it was awesome! You can read my DIY itinerary here: Itinerary for 2 Days and Taipei Day 3 and VLOG.




The highlight of my trip was joining the Pub Crawl on a Saturday night because I met new people and hang out with strangers. If you want something different thing to do when you're out of the country, you should try it. Read my Pub Crawl Taipei experience here.



I have the new favorite clothing line: Uranus Clothing proudly made in Cebu that I wore and perfect for being so urban when I stayed in the Shilin District in Jiantian near Shilin Night Market. Dress by Light In The Box

I went to Taiwan last month and I've seen cherry blossoms started blooming. It was the almost end of the winter season and spring/summer has begun. That's why I was happy to experience the cold weather in Hong Kong few weeks before my Taiwan trip. You can watch my VLOG here.

I don't have an idea what to pack and wear for the trip, so I checked the weather forecast and that was sunny weather and with rain shower. To make sure that I won't be overdressed, I visited www.lightinthebox.com online shop and browsed dresses that could fit with the weather. My coat and the dress I wore during my autumn trip in Kyoto (post here) were also bought from Light in the Box last year.




I choose this little black dress which is perfect for chilly weather forecast with lace details at the bottom. I paired it with my comfy walking shoes and printed socks to break give a little highlight of my outfit.


My trip in Taiwan has been just short, I challenged myself to pack smart with no check in luggage and only hand carry. Guess what? I made it! Finally, I can say that I know how to pack now than before. ( Related posts here)

Dresses for Your Big Day

The end is wrapping up and you know what this means especially for us here in the Philippines? Parties!

Yes, as part of our traditions we have to attend countless parties when the year is coming to an end. Parties are always fun and of course, I am attending a lot this year. Now, this is something tricky as of course, a girl should never come to parties repeating clothes. This is a fashion no-no I live by so this early, I have been scouting for dresses that I can wear for all the parties lined up.

I am just happy I found Ddaydress because all my outfit dilemmas are solved. I was browsing their site and I swear that all of their dresses are just perfect for your big day.


The special occasion dresses are all the things you can imagine wearing to a huge event. As December is also wedding season here in the Philippines, I am thinking of getting that sexy backless dark royal blue scoop neck lace sequined dress for my friend’s big day at the end of the year. It has the perfect cut to show just the right amount of curves and skin.

As for the Christmas parties lined up, perhaps something from their collection of formal dresses and semi formal dresses. I am really thinking about getting the satin scoop crop top two-piece long sleeve blue floral ensemble. I can use it as one or by pairing it with other pieces. Just sounds perfect for all my party outfit needs.

Run Into Style

I have to admit, I am not active this month for my muay thai and yoga session every weekend because of my travels and errands left and right. I do jogging for an hour as my alternative exercise whenever I missed my other fitness workout.

I noticed that I need to change my running shoes for almost two years with comfortable soles. I was browsing to online shops and choose what's best and then I choose to run into style with
