Photo Diary: Temple Run and Museums in Taipei Taiwan

Hello again everyone! So this was our DIY Itinerary in Taipei. We went to visit a temple and museums all for free entrance. Oh, I love Taiwan. Here are my previous posts, thought you would like to read later on.  Taipei DIY Itinerary Day 1 and Day 2.

We went out as early as 8AM and had our breakfast in Taipei 101 Mall food court. We met Chen at the Shilin MRT Station.

Hello Taipei 101!

It was raining that day, but we didn't care.

This was the highlight of my trip because I recorded more than 30,000 steps!

National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall

The National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is a memorial to the Republic of China's National Father, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and was completed in 1972. (source

Our first stop! I love all the flowers, we can't help, but to take photos.

I love museums, I swear.

Lovely paintings

That moment when you have to write a guest book, but you don't have your Chinese script name.

Okay, my name is different.

After the museum, we passed by this European mall in Taipei.

And found this cupid on the wall.

So I talked to him and said can I have his heart? Charot!

Lungshan Temple of Manka

Lungshan Temple of Manka is a Buddhist temple in Wanhua District, Taipei, Taiwan. The temple was built in Taipei in 1738 by settlers from Fujian during Qing rule in honor of Guanyin. (source)

These are my favorite photos I took inside the temple.

Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall

In February 2017 Taiwan's Ministry of Culture announced plans to transform the hall into a national center for “facing history, recognizing agony, and respecting human rights.” A corresponding de-emphasis of the Chiang personality cult is underway as proposals for transforming the hall are reviewed. When it was raining, but photo opts is life.

We witnessed the changing shift of soldiers on duty. It took them 30 minutes with marching.

Cherry Blossoms

I didn't take photos when we went inside, I was busy reading and enjoying the gallery.

We spotted these cherry blossoms outside the museum. I was the happiest!
