photo from my instagram: @jewelclicks

There is no stopping Coca-Cola in reaching hearts and sharing feelings of excitement and happiness as the world-renowned beverage company visits the Queen City of the South – Cebu!

Over 5,000 teens and those young at heart gathered at Cebu IT Park last June 23 as Coca-Cola celebrated its Taste the Feeling Festival, featuring the new Coca-Cola Emoticon Bottles.

Loving Cebu. Cebu greeted the Coca-Cola Philippines President & General Manager Diego Granizo with a warm welcome

Coca-Cola Taste the Feeling in Cebu! Send a kiss or a wink to someone special with the Coca-Cola Emoticon Bottles

With the power of emoticons, Coca-Cola gave everyone a fun and creative way to share their feelings using Coke Emoticons. Guests were offered a chance to express their feelings through personalizing the looks of the emoticons on their Coca-Cola bottles at the venue’s Share a Feeling booth, and through other available interactive booths that evoked fun, kilig, cool, gigil, and many more.

Thousands of moments were captured in the digital interactive photo booths that allowed guests to pose with their squad and choose different “feel-ters” to edit their shots. They also got to feel creative at the coloring wall and feel wild with the free temporary tattoos and face paints.

Coca-Cola Ambassadors Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza filled the event with fun and kilig as they joined the crowd in celebrating the festival. Teens, along with their family and friends, sang to the music of some of the well-loved bands of today such as Itchyworms and Rocksteddy, and partied on ‘til late with Dj Tom Taus.

“For us here at Coca-Cola, the simple pleasure of drinking and enjoying a bottle of Coke is always an experience. Today, we bring that experience to life by creating even more special moments with everyone through a one-of-a-kind, exciting Taste the Feeling Festival full of fun activities, music, feels, and of course, Coca-Cola emoticon bottles. With Coca-Cola emoticon bottles, there is always a sure way to communicate, start a conversation and share a feeling with a crush, a friend, a loved one”, shared Diego Granizo, President and General Manager of Coca-Cola Philippines.

Making moments with Coca-Cola at the Taste the Feeling Festival is truly an experience made more special as couples, friends and families were able to create and share new memories, and express their feelings with the special people in their lives.

Canyoneering in Badian Cebu - Its Going Down for Real

Let me insert the intro of GDFR song "Its Going Down for Real" tenenenenenenenenenenenenen.... (Okaaay, enough!)

That was our ultimate song when we were doing our jumps downstream from Badian falls to Kawasan falls. How cool is that? Canyoneering in Cebu is not a new attraction this year. Some friends already tried it and I haven't. When my friends from Manila decided to visit Cebu and so brave to try the activity, I was hesitant to join them because 1. I don't jump. 2. I can't swim. HAHAHA (okay, so lame excuses) because 1. You can totally jump 2. You will wear helmet, knee pads and life vest) so, no excuses not to try this popular extreme activity.

Update:

The Canyoneering activities in the towns of Alegria and Badian in southern Cebu be suspended starting June 1 until regulations are put in place to ensure public safety. Read more here.

Schedule:

Manila friends arrived in different schedules, no problem as long as you have enough time to rest at night and ready to hit the road as early as 4AM the next day and welcome the sunrise while on the road. Best view ever!

We rent a van going to Badian.

First time not to bring any camera with me and I didn't  rent a sports camera for PHP500 because friends have Go Pros and a camera, YAY! All of the photos from Eric and Ralph camera. Thank you guys! :D

Say Yes to New Adventures

Before we started our activity, we had our quick breakfast then paid for our entrance fee and had our short brief regarding the rules and policies: When you get caught throwing trash you will be in jail for 30-days except if you want to extend your stay in Cebu ;) JK!

Just like any other provinces and tourist spots I've been too here's the quote that you are familiar with for sure.

"Kill nothing but time, leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures keep nothing but memories"

Heavy photos in 3...2...1

One of the jumps I hated, I almost quit. Video below.

Meet the crew:

Eric, I, Zell, Ralph and Janelle

What to wear?

Comfy clothes that you can move freely. I suggest the following:
1. Rashguard
2. Leggings
3. Boardshorts
4. Sandals or Shoes that are so light that.

I wore my walking shoes by Flossy because I remember my last hiking in Mt. Pinatubo I wore my running shoes and it was not fit for walking with rocks the tip of my shoes can hit a rock or stone that can cause an accident alam mo na matatalisod ka.

Be Responsible:

Please do not throw your trash anywhere, pleaseee! Life jacket has a pocket where you can keep your water bottle and wrappers of your biscuits or any food that you bring or put it inside your dry bag. Gosh, so simple!

The guys checking out the 35ft run and jump!

Lunch time at Kawasan Falls!

We enjoyed watching tourists who jumped the 40ft and 50ft and of course we got entertained by Billy who never jump for the last 30 minutes.

Time to go to first falls for some massage!

This is the massage, the best!

After Ten Years!

The first time I went to Kawasan Falls was 2006 with my college friends and I said I will never come back again because it was damn too cold when we stayed there overnight and no room for rent that time and we only stayed in our cottage. After 10 years, here I am and still amazed because the water is still blue and the place is beautiful. I will come back again for sure.

(I wish my multiply account is still up so I can share you my blog post about my trip before.)

Here's my short VLOG: Our 20ft and 35ft jumped in action:

ENJOY!

Have a great day everyone!

Cosmo Fun Fearless Life took on Cebu!

YAAY! I thought I won't make it for the weekend. I've been out in Cebu for a month now and was in Singapore for work for few weeks. I'm so happy to that I have spent my Saturday with my girlfriends in Cosmo Fun Fearless Life Cebu event happened yesterday! :)

On it's 19th anniversary and after the success of the first Fun Fearless Life last year in Manila, Cosmopolitan Philippines brought the Cosmo Fun Fearless Cebu event to Cebu. Over 300 Cebuano Cosmo girls attended the fun-filled weekend held at The Garden Bloc, Cebu I.T. Park. Now on its 2nd year, Cosmo Fun, Fearless, Life is a #lifeinspo event that aims to teach Cosmo girls to DREAM BIG, AND START NOW.

Before the main event on the 29th, Cosmo kicked off the weekend by taking snapshots of girls in the city with the most fabuous, #OOTDs with #CosmoStreetStyle (Wow! Lucky those girls who spotted. while I was on my way to Cebu. HAHA) on May 27th where most fashionable Cebuanas will get featured in Cosmo.ph website. They also held #CosmoCafe where they visited three (3) branches of Bo's Coffee located in Ayala Center Cebu, Robinsons Galleria Cebu, and SM Seaside City Cebu to treat CGs a buy 1 take 1 promo for one hour. All Cosmo girls chilling at these shops were invited to attend the main event the next day. Capping off this jam-packed afternoon, Cosmo went around The Distillery Cebu and LIV Super Club; two of the biggest clubs in Cebu to pre-gamed with us as we showered them with Cosmo Cocktails to celenrate their Friday night with us! Whooaaa, so cool! :)

Saturday were dedicated to activities and topics about taking passions further. Cosmo editors and their handpicked fun, fearless females who made waves in their chosen fields took center stage. Cosmo.ph editor-in-chief Jillian Gatcheco hosted the event, while Cosmopolitan Editorial Director Myrza Sison talked about the transformative power of beauty.

Aside from the editors, the Cosmo team flew in renowned fashion and beauty photographer Shaira Luna. I love how she shared her story in photographs. It was funny how I met her and introduced myself and asked to take a photo with her in powder room. hahaha! No one knows the backstory it's our secret now. :D I'm so inspired to her story. Do what you love and do what you want to do.

Carissa, Ishie, Crisch, and Melanie was hooked on her too! :)

Former Candy Magazine editor-in-chief and author of "In Case You Come Back" Marla Miniano is one of my favorite Pinay authors of Summit geezzz! I have her book Table for Two back in 2010, I think and finally I met her in person and of course, I don't want to missed taking a photo with her. I also have her series of Every Girls Guide of... you can read my post about it here: Modern Fiction Books  Now I know why her books are good to read. She is an independent woman since 20 (after her college) and I can relate to that. :)

Celebrity stylist Kat Cruz, whose clientele includes Kim Chiu and Nadine Lustre, to share how they made it big in their respective careers. Whoaaa, I love her tips on how to wear wide legs pants? hahaha :D I remember my "elephant pants" days in high school. hahaha

Everyone had an amazing time listening to all the talks while enjoying Cosmo cocktails. There were also pamepering booths that provided free nail, eyebrow and hairstyling services. I got a chance to have a 15-minutes free hand massage! :)

I also saw DJ TonyToni

From this event, co-presented by Avida, al participants took home a special canvass tote filled with freebies from Cosmo and its sponsors including major sponsor, Skin White.

Shout out to my Cosmo girls who joined with me at the event and had a chance to catch up!

Finally met Cristine Despares of mypoeticisolation.blogspot.com (right) with her friend Shiela Cortuna - YAY! :)

Finally after few months of being busy with her work, Crisch Abayon (middle) finally said yes to my invite and in this event pa ha! together with her friend Melanie Bering.

Tadaaaah! The muay thai buddies, Ishie Toledo (left) and Carissa Bongalosa (right) so glad to hang out with them in Sugbu Mercado after the event and eat a lot, until our coach in Muay Thai, Franz saw us. HAHAHA So funny! :)

Here's our "live" video on Carissa's Facebook. HAHAH :D
