Summer with Daddy

with  Daddeee!

Awesome! Finally, sharing some of the photos from our Family vacation last week of May. Yes, we ended our summer with a bang! :) Here are photos with the siblings, friend, Garth our dog and my sister's daughter, Shanna and husband JC!

We had our trip at San Pablo Island, one of the two islands in our hometown. We spend our vacation here every year, it's our traditional now. We choose this small island over San Pedro Island, which is bigger one because this place have fewer people or visitors so much private and me-time. :)

The next day, we went to hot spring, I missed to join the family last year when they went here and finally I joined the family dipping the hot, warm, cold and coldest water here. Will definitely blog about this soon. For now, here are few shots with Dad!

This is where the spot for warm water. Dad and Uncle Ar-Ar having fun.

So happy to spent quality time with our Dad! There are too many to mentions why he's so cool!

Happy Father's Day! :)
and to all the Father's out there! :)

Have a great day everyone!

GNO: After Two Years

YEY! For Girls Night Out post here on my blog. This time, I'm with my friend since grade-school, Sheena! She's from Manila and had her business trip here in Cebu. The last time we saw each other was May 2012! We can't believe it, it was two years ago. feels like only yesterday or last month! :D Here's our throwback photo inside Bench, a clothing store in J Center Mall here in Mandaue when I visited her while she's working, Cebu and opened in SM Consolacion, Cebu branch.

She's back here in Cebu for new projects! I didn't had a chance to meet her last March because we were both busy. She and her team are working on the new Bench Lifestyle + Clothing store that will opens in Ayala Center Cebu located in their New Wing this June and soon to open Cotton On! YEY! I keep on asking her when it will going to open and she said depends on how things going on. I also asked her about what is the difference of the Global Bench Store from the existing one. If you are from Cebu, I will let you know soon. :)

Here's the photo of Lee Min Ho from their latest summer collection. Ayeee! he is so cute! brb, dying....

We had our dinner at Gusto Urban Cafe + Wine Bar. We had fun and healthy conversation and talk about love life.. We can say that we are matured now. hehehe

The best part of the conversation is that we are planning to have a short out of town trip soon as her schedule permits from work.

I am so happy every time there's a friend from Manila who will visit Cebu and spend their time meeting me. Sheena is one of them, I have a blog post regarding "Friendship" that is saved as draft. (I know, I know, I have to post it soon.)

We ended the night with a cheers! It was nice to see each other again.

See you soon my friend in Manila or here in Cebu! :)

A Date with Mom: Silahis Arts and Artifacts

Muralla
For those who are not aware, it's summer time here in the Philippines. There are so many articles to read on what else you can do during summer such as learning a new skill (check), yoga for inner peace (check), go to the beach (check), travel (check), visit Museum (and... check!) I lost the link of the article I read it on Yahoo. Unfortunately Casa Manila Museum was closed. So we continued to walk around the area and across to The Silahis Center.

Silahis Arts and Artifacts was established in 1966 and incorporated the following year. Since then, we have been engaged in designing, producing, wholesaling, retailing and exporting the finest of handmade Philippine products.
Our main showroom is The Silahis Center located in Intramuros, Manila. In a museum atmosphere with four departments, traditional artifacts and cultural crafts are synthesized with contemporary crafts and accessories expressing our eclectic Philippine lifestyle. Read more.

Whoa! Such a great place to check native Philippine arts, artifacts and Filipino native stuff inside. Their floor is shiny and I like the wooden stairs reminds me of our Ancestral house in Leyte. While I was taking my steps going down and admiring it, I slipped off and went straight to the ground! Good thing, there were only few people there and I just laughed and said "starwax ah!"

We went up stairs to check the gallery.

My date for the day, my Mom! :)

 Excuse my tired face.

Hot weather.

So I was trying out this old electric fan if its still working.

Abstract!

I was trying to have a fierce look like the woman in the paintings behind me. Chos!

Spell FAT.

This is my favorite! I think I've seen this somewhere like in my tumblr dashboard. I'm not sure.

Mom's turn for photo opts.

Former President Ferdinand Marcos her idol.

This is a special post on my blog so far. Whenever I'm in Manila, I have to make sure that I have time to visit and meet my Mom to go out for a date. She is living in Manila while I and my siblings are happy based in Cebu City. Though she was in Cebu months ago, we're looking forward to live with us soon if she wants to. Too many to mention, this is not enough to show the world that I have a best Mom because all Mothers out there are the best and unique with their own ways.

Mothers Day is on May 11, just one day to celebrate, but for me it's everyday! Lucky for those who are living with their parents, cheers for the independents out there! :) Leaving you a photo of us.

Hope you like this post!

What are your plans this coming Mother's Day?

Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers and to your Mother!

Love lots!

The Wedding: Chateau de Busay

I attended my friend's wedding weeks ago. I am so happy to witnessed their changing of vows to each other. They've been planning for this for a long time. Ana and Karlo wedding reception venue was awesome! We were at Chateau de Busay Cebu.

I always passed by this place whenever I go uphill to chill to Mountain View Nature Park or Tops Cebu, we all need some sweet and short escape away from the city sometimes.

Their motif was blue and lavender so, I decided to choose blue because I already have this blazer and I think it's time to give it a spin again. :) I was so busy the entire week, so I decided to buy my wedding gift after my work and dropped by at What A Girl Wants to see, what I can wear as an inner, good thing, I spotted this floral top that match my royal blue blazer. Whew! that saves me. For the bottom, I have this high-waist shorts from Strings Manila long time ago, I haven't worn this because it was too big for me because of this wedding, I had a time to go to a shop nearby to alter this cute orangey shorts! YAY!

Top: What A Girl Wants | Shorts: Strings Manila | Blazer and Shoes: SM Dept. Store

I'm not sure what I'm trying to convey here, one hand in the pocket posed. HAHA!

It was great catching up with these girls again :)

Ishi, MJ, RC and Me

My favorite group photo, that moment when you don't know what to pose when the photographer ask for a "wacky pose"

Feels like I'm so far away from you.... I mean far away from the city! Look at the view, there were three weddings reception and one debut party that day and in different parts of this place with different mountain and city views, but I like their spot better!

Hello there city!

Love is in the air. Behind the scene of their wedding video.

Our group photo with Mr. and Mrs. Llanos!

The sunset sesh!

Guess what? Wondering why I have the bouquet of flowers of the bride? YES! I was the one who wore the garter and that means "I will be the next bride!" (you know, tradition) the question is "to whom?" HAHAHAH! :D

Have a great day everyone! :)
