VLOG: I Ate Ice Cream in Walking Street Pattaya Thailand

Finally sharing you one of my memorable experiences during my trip in Thailand.

I got victim by my friends about having an ice cream while in the famous night street in Pattaya - The Walking Street. 

Up until now I still laughed at myself by watching this video just because  - IT'S FUNNY!

Cool Clean and Comfy Stay at Quest Hotel Cebu

I had enough beach trips last year. This year is kind of hectic for me to go out of town and have enough vitamin sea. To feel the summer, the closest that you can do is to have a staycation somewhere cool, clean and comfy. Quest Hotel Cebu is the perfect place to be in. 

Cool

The only hotel that offers Karaoke night with your family or friends. I had a great time operating the machine and entered all the songs that everyone can sing. hahaha

Clean

When I entered the room, As much as I would love to jump off the bed, I had to take photos of the room. Quest Hotel rooms is perfect for staycation and also with my friend Carissa. 

Fun

I missed out this part: swimming! My bed hugged me until nine in the morning and when I checked the pool from our window there were a lot of guests swimming.

Cardio

Staycation but need to go out and jog? No worries the hotel have a place for you to work out your summer body. :) 

Food and Dining 

The hotel has Puso Bistro and Bar which I already posted here. I am now thinking of Luxury Cheesecake right now, darn. You can read my full post about it here: Puso Bistro and Bar.

Comfy

How comfy is comfy? Level: slumber party! Carissa and I needed a break from our work (meaning facing our phones and laptops) so reading is one of the things we do, but we are not that boring so...

After "kulitan and harutan" we got tired and relax for a bit.

Side Trip to Tumalog Falls in Oslob Cebu

On my previous post about Sumilon Island, we went back to the beach resort for lunch. So early for the beach bummers to stop swimming around the island. Days before our trip, Steph shared about the falls to add to our itinerary in our trip. Yes, "one day trip". At first, some of our officemates said about the place is not so nice, but most of us would love to see the falls. Why not? the falls look so lovely great photos posted on a blog.

After lunch, we went to Tumalog Falls! Still in the area of Oslob, Cebu. Here are the photos taken by Hendrix. I have so many photos too, but I choose to stare and feel the cold of the water splashing to me because I was a loser who did not bring my swimming attire to take a quick dip. BOO. I know.

On our way there was fun and hot! Look at the trail, advantage it is cemented and going down. No need to ride habal-habal (motorbike) going to the falls.

Disadvantage: Summer and it's hot! I kept on singing "Let it go, let it go" (Frozen theme song) but there were no ice. LOL!

Photo Diary and VLOG: Sumilon Island Cebu 2014

We managed to arrived at 5 AM for Sunrise! Wohooo! 

YEY! I never thought my summer getaways are full of excitement. You know the feeling of you have places to go to after one another? So when I came back from my Ilocos trip and Manila trip (will blog about it soon) I was looking forward to our summer outing with the awesome people at work! Remember my trip to Bantayan Island? Yes, we were more than eight in just one day trip! :) While some of my friends are enjoying their #LaBoracay2014 event in Boracay Island, I am here in Cebu and planning for more trips!

My pre-departure photo at 2AM before the long drive going to Oslob Cebu, 3-4 hours drive from Cebu City we used private vehicles, which is a good advantage.

The popular Oslob Whaleshark Watching

Whale sharks are spotted in Tan-awan, Oslob which is 10 km away from the center of the town. It started last September 2011 and become a tourist attraction and popular all over the world. Local fishermen’s interact with the whale sharks by feeding them by hand while tourists find it entertaining. Source: Wikipedia

Less than 15 minutes and we arrived in Sumilon Island!

Sumilon Island is a 24-hectare coral island off the coast of Bancogon, Oslob, Cebu. The island hosts the Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort which developed the island into an eco-friendly haven for those who want to get away from the stress of city living.[11]
The Island of Sumilon is located in the southeastern tip of the Municipality of Oslob in the province of Cebu. The island has an area of 24 hectares and has clear waters with varying aquamarine hues and white sand beaches in different areas of the island. (source)
